John Mitchell is a fighter out of MMA Cork that began competing in MMA in 2015. Since then, he has pretty much torn through the Irish MMA scene. He went 2 – 0 as a pro with Cage Warriors and won Fight of the Night when the organization last returned to Cork. He followed that performance up with a 1-round destruction of a highly rated UK-based fighter with a RNC. He is now plying his trade with UAE Warriors and has continued to tear through their Lightweight Division in similar fashion. As an amateur, John is a former 3 x time Cage Legacy Welterweight Champion, Akuma Lightweight Champion & Celtic Gladiator Super-Welterweight Champion, making him a 5 time Irish Champion across multiple organisations and weight divisions. John has also represented Ireland at the World Championships and has even successfully boxed at light-heavyweight in the University Boxing Championships in 2016. John has the eyes of the MMA world firmly fixed on him and is always looking for his next showstopping display.
